We’ve all heard that it’s better to snack on fruits and veggies than some processed chips, right? It’s so hard to resist, especially when those savory snacks call to us. If you’re in the mood, for something that’s quick and easy, here’s something fun to try:
- Greek Yogurt
- Organic Raisin Bran cereal
- Optional: Blueberries or Strawberries
It’s simple to make, and fills you right up! Personally, I like the Greek Gods Yogurt (available at Safeway!) because there’s up to 5 active cultures. If you read the ingredients list closely on many of the yogurt brands, you’ll see that they often have no active cultures. The importance of probiotics is to help support your digestive system: if it’s not present, then it means that you’re chomping down on sugar, milk and cream– and that’s an unfortunate no-no.
